The New Zealand Firefighters Welfare Society (NZFFWS) came to us for assistance to improve their marketing approach.
The Society was equally interested to learn what benefits might come from utilising an outsourced marketing team.
After thoughtful discussion – and comparing us to other branding and design agencies – they chose our marketing team as the right fit for their Society. A part of this work was to manage the Society’s social media activities on a month-to-month basis, for Facebook and Instagram.
A key overriding message for social media marketing was to enhance the value of being a member by regularly communicating the benefits of membership.
Identifying important themes, we developed campaigns, sharing the key messages on social media. The holiday homes campaign is one example.
The content calendar we developed included various campaigns over the course of the year, however this pivoted as our client’s needs changed.
Due to unpredicted events, i.e. the disasterous weather events in Northland and Auckland in January and February 2023, the marketing campaign changed to meet the needs of members at this time.

Alongside managing the social media requirements for the Society, we also rebuilt and modernised their brand and redeveloped their website. We redesigned their logo, developed other “key offering icons” and helped them on the rebranding journey with strategic input and planning.
The Society chose us and still works with us today as they felt we understood their needs not only from a digital marketing perspective, but also from a strategic marketing perspective.
