Recognising a growing demand for affordable, sustainable and high quality homes, Norma McCarthy established Able Spaces in 2017.
Able Spaces specialises in prefabricated construction. Buildings are put together in a dedicated workshop, and can be delivered to site in one piece (for smaller homes) or in sections that are joined together on-site. For sections with difficult access there is the option to build directly onsite.
With their innovative approach to quality, sustainable homes, the company has earned a strong following and we have been proud to support their marketing efforts as the business continues to thrive.
Marketing Services Provided
Norma approached us, interested in marketing assistance across a range of activities including her website. We worked with her to figure out which aspects of her marketing were most important, then tailored a monthly marketing plan to meet her needs.
The first order of business was to take a snapshot of how her website was performing and see what improvements could be made.
1. Insight Gathering / Discovery Session
Digital Insights/SEO Package
We undertook keyword analysis of the Able Spaces website and three competitors, and did a website performance review. The overall aim was gather all the information we needed to improve organic search results for the website.
Google Ads
We optimised Able Spaces existing Google Ads account and manage this on a month-to-month basis to maximise click-through rates, while being heavily focused on effective spend of Ads budget. We also provide monthly reports on performance.
2. Monthly Marketing Assistance
SEO Improvements
Based on the findings of the digital insights, the Able Spaces website was thoroughly reviewed. All pages and content was optimised for target keywords to improve Able Spaces organic search performance.
Social Media
We write posts for Able Spaces, create graphics and share video on Facebook and Instagram as needed.
Websites Updates
With Able Spaces having fantastic Google reviews, these were added to the website’s home page. We also included the latest blogs and case studies on the home page to keep it fresh.
Ongoing and regular improvements are proactively made to the website each month.
Case Studies
We regularly interview Able Spaces clients to capture their experience of their house build and how they found working with Able Spaces. These case studies became a new collection of stories on the website to showcase client satisfaction. offering an inside look into the experience of working with Able Spaces.
Blogs
We also write blogs to promote various aspects of Able Spaces homes. The blogs and case studies provide quality, fresh content for the website and assist with improving organic Google search results in an ongoing way.
Email Direct Marketing
Each quarter we write and design newsletters and sent these out to Able Spaces database. You can see the newsletter archive here.
Regular Meetings
We keep in regular contact with Able Spaces via meetings and regular phone calls to support their marketing activities and also ensure our marketing efforts remain aligned with the company’s evolving needs.
Ad Hoc Assistance
When you are running a business, sometimes you just don’t know what marketing hitches you are going to run into or what smaller things you might need help with.
We made allowances for this sort of support in Norma’s monthly plan and so far have helped out with a lead generation initiative, looking at CRM/EDM options and how best to integrate them with the website.
3. A New Service Offering
Separating Rentable Spaces from Able Spaces
Some months after we started working with Able Spaces, Norma chose to split out her service offerings and focus the Able Spaces website on transportable and kitset homes only. For the other part of the business (portable rentable cabins), we built a new, separate website to match the look and feel of Able Spaces for “Rentable Spaces”, along with a separate Google Ads account for Rentable Spaces.
