Background
Established in 1987, Key Commercial Interiors has built a reputation for quality, high standards of craftsmanship and reliability.
With their long history of delivering successful projects, they realised that their marketing had not kept up to date.
The owner of Key Commercial Interiors reached out to us seeking marketing support to enhance the visual appeal of the company’s documentation and ensure consistency. The first step was to meet with us in person.
Marketing Services Provided
1. Initial Meeting
First Contact
After an initial enquiry, we met with Kevan and the leadership team. We were keen to get a better understanding of Kevan’s business and discuss their needs in more detail.
The team was in the process of pitching for a tender and they had realised the importance in today’s marketplace for professional looking documentation. They reached out to us to help them with this exercise.
2. Document Template Design
User Friendly Documents Needed
First up, the team required a tender template including a cover that they could reuse themselves. The purpose was to elevate the written presentation of their documents, while providing consistency across the team so anyone in the team could use the document template.
We used our design software to create some striking graphics and imported these into a Word template. This way the Key Commercials team are able to customise the template to suit their different proposals, adding the content in Word.
3. Tender Writing
Providing Specialist Assistance
When the Key Commercials team learned some of our team had extensive experience writing (and winning) tenders, they called on us to walk them through the process. We were given access to their shared files and became a key part of their team, with regular follow up calls and meetings including sessions to review and progress the tender document. We provided them with templates to help them write staff bios and led discussions on which projects to select for the tender. We provided them with a base document with global styles they could use. In consultation with their team we wrote a good proportion of the tender and gave after hours support to ensure on time delivery.
4. Logo Update
Consistent Brand
While working with Key Commercials, it became apparent that over the years they had inherited a number of similar, but different logo designs. There were some noticeable differences in colours and fonts which had been used by various members of the team. We offered to work with them to provide them with a single logo that could over time, become the master logo. We also supplied them with a brand guideline outlining the colours and styles all their marketing efforts would now follow to keep their brand consistent.
