Help us with our Google Ads
Background
Aspect Glass is a successful Wellington-based glazing business that has been run by Allen for more than 30 years.
After a referral from NZME, Allan’s daughter, Sophie, got in touch with us to ask us if we could help with the Google Ads for her father’s glazing business.
After the initial enquiry and a brief email exchange, one of our team met with Sophie to discuss the project. Given the limited Google Ads budget, we were keen to explore ways to optimise their marketing spend for maximum impact and get better results for the business.
Marketing Services Provided
1. Zoom Meeting
Initial Meeting
It was difficult for Sophie to make it to an in-person meeting so we first met her via Zoom. We were keen to understand more about the rationale and the requirement for Google Ads. How could we best help her father in his business with a limited Google Ads spend?
We were keen to understand also how his present website was working for him and what plans Allan had for his business. i.e. If he was looking to retire at some point and sell the business, would he benefit from upgrading his website? Was the current website working? Would the Google Ads spend work well for him with the current website so out of date, or was it just a waste of money?
As it happened, the existing Aspect Glass website was very old and Allan had had trouble making any changes to it so it had been left in the too hard basket for some years. We offered to rebuild the site with the budget they had earmarked for Google Ads.
2. Website Rebuild & Digital Overview
Website Design
A clean, minimal, modern look was top of the list and Allan was happy for us to write the content for him. We also allowed for optimising the content for search keywords to maximum benefit in Google results.
To keep costs down, we suggested just a few pages to start with, but with a structure that made it easy for Allan to add more pages and content to it at a later date. We also offered to show them how to make changes to the website going forward, so they didn’t have the same challenges they had had in the past.
